Wash the mutton pieces well and let it dry |

Grind the cumin and black pepper together.Marinate the muttonpieces with the ground ingredients, turmeric powder and salt |

After an hour boil them in a large cooking dish adding 1 cup of water, closing with the lid, on high till the meat is tender |

There should be little water left once the meat is cooked. If you find there is no water then add at least ¼ cup water and boil for a minute |

In another frying pan pour 3 tbsp of oil and add 1/4 tsp fennil powder and fry lightly |

Add the cooked mutton pieces and mix well |

Reduce the heat to low and let it fry mixing it often till the gravy thickens. Remove from heat and serve hot. |
